Monday Mind Strength


Happy Monday!


I'm on my way to work this morning to fix computers with Randy. Not personal computers, but the big servers that go into racks in data centers.


Why am I doing these things? To keep my brain healthy.


I am exercising my brain just like we exercise our muscles.


Don't believe society's lies that we must accept that we can't learn new things as we age.


Don't say you can't do things. That's a lie.


Trust me, technology is not my gift! But I can can still learn and actually be productive. I don't have to be a rocket scientist.


I'm simply doing a list of things as suggested in "7 ways to keep your memory sharp at any age - Harvard Health"


And while I'm doing it I can still prove wrong society's lies about age and weight gain.


Laura in the forum the other day said even her doctor said it's a part of aging, that we should accept weight gain.


It's a myth. It's a lie.


I'm still proving it today. It calories! It's all calories. Well, there are a few more tricks to keep sustainable and have better performance, but I've written about that in many other posts.


We are almost at work, Randy is driving. I'm putting my thinking cap on and will be sipping my herbal tea 🍵, eating what is planned in my 📦 box, because I know by heart ❤ that the body weight ⚖ scale tracks calories almost perfectly.


There is no excuse. We can all do what we set out to do.


It's a choice.
