It's easy to get mad!


I was looking through pictures of last year at this time, before the C-word happened. It brought back memories regarding how life was back then.​

I was eating lunch in between classes.

I went to a swim class and learned to swim.

I went to Mechatronics classes, in person.


The college has been deserted for almost a year now. It's so sad.


So much makes us sad right now. All of us.


What do you do when you are sad?


What do you do when you are mad?


Life will never go back to normal.


Yet I won't accept "The New Normal" because there are some very concerning things about that. Keturah talked about that a little in the forum yesterday. I share her same concerns.


Tips for dealing with anger:


Express your feelings in a healthy manner.​ Don't let things boil and fester until they blow up (that always surprises everyone around you right?)​ I love having the private forum available for expressing things. It's good to have a safe place.


Take the time to think about WHY you feel the way you do. If you don't have the time to do it in the moment, schedule the time for yourself. It's important to understand why and see if there are ways to solve the problem.


If you feel like you will explode about it, take a few deep breaths and repeat a quote you saved. Keep taking the breath's and repeating your phrase or quote.​ Schedule the time to think and deal with it.


Go exercise if you can. Or journal or listen to music. Sometimes intense workouts do the trick, like kickboxing or HIIT. Other times it's gardening, walking, riding a bike, or house cleaning chores. Anyone else find that accomplishing tasks that are nagging at you can make you feel better and more in control? Me too!


Find your happy place, focus on the present and prioritize what is important.
