"Failure to prepare is preparing to fail"

THIS WILL HIT HOME WITH A LOT OF YOU.

It is no secret that if you don’t plan ahead or set yourself up for success in advance you fail.

1. You have to know that yourself and not make excuses about it.

2. You have to be able to learn that to and know how to solve the problem that arises for yourself to WIN.

Experience shows you have been through the struggle and know the ways to get out of it.

Do all the things:

Pre-track macros or have a meal plan

Grocery Shop

Meal Prep

Plan Ahead for your day/trips

Scheduling

Drink water

Prioritize sleep

Get movement in, it doesn't have to be all or nothing

I’m here to HELP.

And I’m doing it myself. I’ve been doing the short PT runs every day, three times a day, adding a set up pushups with all three. I’m ready to step up to longer walks, and I have to remember to keep doing the pushups every day. I leave out my little pushup holders (in the picture) to remind me. I’m afraid I’ll forget.

I leave things out in such a way to remind me of many things that need to get done today, or to remind myself WHY I’m making the hard choices… like yes, I’ll drink water (I set out the pitcher of water and glass is right there), or no, I won’t snack on extra food! Yes, I will go for the walk even if I don’t feel like it.

As I was walking today, I’ve thought of how hard these last few years were. I was in so much pain, and the world was going crazy, and then this year I’ve had THREE SURGERIES. That’s so many hurdles, but I’ve survived the worst.

Now I just have to wait and heal, and I GET TO walk, in a couple weeks I can add; ride a stationary bike, and swim. And I GET TO eat good healthy food (so far). I can control portions no matter what the circumstances. It doesn't matter that I won't lift weights again until next summer, look at what I CAN do! And I can do pushups! It's hard to make myself do them, but dang what a blessing that I can!!

What a blessing all of that is. Yes, it was hard times, but we don’t have to become victims of the circumstances.

Learn to win. It takes time. Let’s do it together.
