Do I really need two slices of bread?


Or can I get by with one slice?


I have to answer this question every day to keep myself from gaining too much body fat.


When people see me, or my pictures in the app from the entire year, they might think...


Oh, it's easy for her. Oh that's the way she is already.


But that's a lie. It takes a little thought and decision making every day.


It takes planning.


It takes habit building.


It doesn't take special powers.


It doesn't take extraordinary discipline.


It just takes building discipline and habits and mindset every day, just like you have done with anything you have been good at in your life.


Why is this important?


Because your body is the power house for everything you do in life.


It always matters!


This is how you survive disease. This is how you keep your body functioning so you can live out your purpose, whatever it is.


No matter what is going on in the world right now, you have a purpose.


Will you do your best to live out your purpose this fine winter Monday morning?


I have to bundle up and go work in a freezing cold warehouse, fixing big computers, solving problems, brushing aside negative thoughts, drinking hot tea and water, and eating what I packed so perfectly in a little box even though I'm not perfect. The box of food helps because I know I can eat it all at once, or I can pace it out and make the day go a little smoother in that regard.


Visualize what you need to do today, and start checking off the boxes.


It doesn't have to be perfect, but you can look in the mirror at the end of the day and say "I did these things... I executed my power list... I will do this again tomorrow."


That's it.


Just go do it.
